Nr 2 Turkehølen Fretheim Hotel used to dry its bed linen here; hence the name. (The drying pool) This is where the salmon first meets stronger currents. The pool is at its deepest further up, more shallow with sand banks at the lower part of the zone. The fish often rest here, perhaps behind the dark stone in the midst of the river? Fretheim Hotel manages both sides of the zone some days, and the east bank some days. Days with double bank fishing: Dates in July: 01., 02., 03., 08., 09., 17., 18., 28., 29. and 30.07. Dates in August: 04., 05., 10., 11., 12., 16., 17., 18., 23. and 24.08. Dates in September: 04., 05., 11., 12. and 13.09.
